Dr. Damon Welch grew up in Winter Haven, FL, attending Winter Haven High School and graduating from Lake Region High School. After graduating from Rollins College he completed his medical school training and ophthalmology residency training at the University of Florida. Go Gators. He is happily married to his wife, Christina, who is a captain in the Air Force, and has bravely served multiple tours in Iraq as a search and rescue medical doctor. Dr. Welch enjoys spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, jogging, and playing ultimate Frisbee. He is active in the community and his local church.
